Product description

Nanotouch Hand provides permanent protection against harmful microorganisms thanks to the protective layer it creates on the skin. While other hand and skin disinfectants dry your skin, Nanotouch Hand protects and softens it with the auxiliaries in its formulation.

Formulation

Nanotouch Hand is a water-based, alcohol-free skin disinfectant formulated using deionised purified water and seventh-generation quaternary ammonium components. It creates a protective barrier while moisturising the skin with glycerin. It contains no alcohol or acid. Quaternary ammonium compounds are often used in toothpaste, contact lens products, a wide range of cosmetic products and soaps. The technology of these components and the formulation ensure that the hand disinfectant stays effective for a long time.

Effect against coronaviruses

The new-generation quaternary ammonium components used in production also have an effect against coronaviruses, a type of enveloped RNA virus. Effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19), has been proven through tests conducted in laboratories accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.

Working principle

When applied to the skin and allowed to dry, the hydroxyl group in the silane root binds to the surface of the skin. Other hydroxyl groups in the silane radical form crosslinks through a condensation-type reaction with other molecules. The nitrogen molecule in the protective layer takes a positive charge and attracts pathogens, and the long molecular chains put an end to their vital activities.

Questions about this product

Is Nanotouch harmful to health?

No. Both the active ingredient in the product and the tests carried out on Nanotouch show that it has no negative effect on human and animal health.

How do I know Nanotouch is safe to use?

Nanotouch technology has been tested in independent laboratories and has a long history of observation showing that it is used safely. Organosilane is EPA registered for all applications where it is used.

Which harmful microorganisms is Nanotouch technology effective against?

Nanotouch technology is effective against all bacteria, viruses, algae and mould. The effect list, determined by testing the microbes and viruses in approved laboratories, can be obtained from our corporate office.

How quickly does Nanotouch take effect?

Nanotouch protection begins to take effect as soon as it comes into contact with a microorganism, and continues to work to reduce the load of living organisms. Under the right conditions, harmful microorganisms on an untreated surface can double every 20 minutes. Nanotouch does not allow such a negative situation to occur.

Can using Nanotouch cause resistance in microorganisms and create super bacteria?

No. Because Nanotouch acts mechanically throughout the disinfection and protection processes, adaptation or mutation does not occur in harmful microorganisms.
